Geriatric Physiotherapy

Since September 1, 2025, we have also employed a physiotherapist in our practice as a Geriatric Physiotherapist. A geriatric physiotherapist is a trained and skilled physiotherapist who specializes in the care of vulnerable older adults. The geriatric physiotherapist has specific knowledge of older adults and their medical conditions. Patients primarily receive exercise therapy to remain as independent and mobile as possible. The physiotherapist also advises and guides family members and informal caregivers. They inform patients and their relatives about the medical condition, the prognosis, the treatment, daily activities, and aids.
